The latest I've heard is the hobbit will be released in 2012. Even though they have started filming, the list of actors on www.imdb.com are still listed as rumored. Has anyone found out any more details or trailers for it yet?

Loved your first two books of the Thorik Dain series! Gave me my fantasy fix to hold me over until the hobbit comes out in 2011, or is 2012 now?

Actually, I think it's better. Just as the third one (not released yet) is better than the 2nd one.

Just finished Fate of Thorik and just ordered Sacrifice of Ericc. I hope the second one in the series is as good as the first one!

Thanks Lyle!
I've been involved with the local Faith in Action group for nearly a year now. We've been fortunate enough to raise the funds needs through auctions and golf events to keep our program going. It's all charity work, so our expenses are low. It feels great to help out locals in need.
Thanks for the high-five on the writing. I'll have to post my latest short story. I've received some great feedback on it.
I'm looking forward to the Las Vegas Writer's convention. Should be a great experience!
Keep me posted on your writing. Do you have a website?

You are one "Very Busy" guy. I don't recall that I knew of you being involved with Faith in Action. I've written a series of news stories about them and am proud to say that I was instrumental in the local Upper Rock Island County Faith in Action group raising enough money to keep going for another year. They were struggling financially and about to close down at the end of last year. The local organization is vitally important to people who live alone and are unable to get around to doctors appts, grocery shopping, etc.
One more thing: Not only are you a busy person you are "One Heckuva" writer. Good luck next month at the literary agent show in Vegas.

I've been asked to speak at Iowa's library conference in April. I'll be speaking in the morning on the 9th. Drop by and say hello if you're attending!

Hi Joyce,
I'm glad to hear your grandson likes it enough to protect it. I've had librarians tell me that the books are disappearing from the library as well.
I'm mailing out the 2 Thorik Dain books today to your other grandson. I've also thrown in the first 2 Nums book to keep him busy until the 3rd Thorik book is published. Looking forward to hearing what he thinks of them!
Thanks!

Hey good buddy, I need to get two (first two) books of Thorik again. Different grandson. The first one doesn't want to "loan his out" to his cousin for fear of not getting it back. We're on FB together and my email is in there too, as well as we're on Twitter. I need to get some "dough" ra, me to you etc. and need the address. We're all waiting for book three. Believe me, I understnd the "hurry up and wait" with the editor's and publishers.

LOL. Thanks for the enthusiasm, Kevin. But reality is most of the writing I do on the other series and books tend to take place while I'm in limbo waiting for my editors to mark up a draft of the next Thorik Dain book. So there's no need to worry about it playing second fiddle to another project.
